About Me
My name is Jovita Enriquez.
I am a Latina performer, focusing primarily on both vocal and violin performance. I strive to be a passionate performer and am always working on my next album. I'm hoping to expand my fanbase and perform shows all across the country.
From an early age, Music has been a very influential part of my life.
Born in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico, I have always had a passion for music and the arts. My first performance was a Mother's Day production in the third grade, and from that moment, I was hooked on singing and performing. At 13, I traveled with a school group to Washington, TC to perform at a Presidential Tree Lighting ceremony. I've studied Opera and Music Theory at New Mexico School for the Arts, where I took college-level courses while earning my high school diploma. I've competed on a Spanish singing competition where I finished in the top 3.
My Mission
I love playing the violin, and I'm experienced in playing the piano. My personal preference in music style is Mariachi, but I appreciate all music styles and can sing in several different languages. My love of music comes from its ability to connect with an audience and make them truly feel all sorts of different emotions. One of my favorite experiences is when an audience member connects with a song and is able to feel the passion I put into a performance.
My Accomplishments
I have performed all sorts of different shows, most notably at the Lensic Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I also performed a show at the Santa Fe Opera in late 2019. In 2020, I auditioned for a spot on NBC's The Voice.
Touring Plans
Jovita is currently working on booking local shows in the Medford, Oregon or Santa Fe, New Mexico areas, however I'm willing to branch out to perform anywhere in the United States.
